Founded in 2006, PACER's National Bullying Prevention Center actively leads social change to prevent childhood bullying, so that all youth are safe and supported in their schools, communities and online. Cartoon Network and PACER are inspiring kids in communities nationwide to make a difference by including someone. PACER's NBPC is lending its expertise by creating resources for educators focused on inclusion incorporating Cartoon Network's beloved characters available on the www.includesomeone.com campaign microsite. The microsite provides ideas and resources for kids and educators on how to include someone to make a difference in their community.
The 826 National Network, the largest youth writing network in the United States, works to make the power and joy of writing accessible to students across the country. Through chapters in nine cities and via 826 Digital they serve close to 80,000 young people each year, helping them explore writing as a tool to ignite and channel creativity, explore identity, advocate for themselves and their community, and achieve academic and professional success. Building upon the Inclusion Storytelling Project, a collaboration that encouraged students at 826 chapters to share their individual stories about kindness and empathy, Cartoon Network and 826 National are expanding their partnership with more inclusion-themed lessons and writing prompts for elementary and middle school students available on 826 Digital.
